When the folks at Family First were establishing their law firm, they approached me to create a logo with a contemporary feel and an approachable, friendly tone avoiding the typical law firm cliches—scales, gavels, and blackletter type.
Family First focuses on helping people move out of old stages of life and begin new ones. The logo I designed emphasizes growth using a stylized olive branch. I used sans serif letterforms to keep the design welcoming and added color to the tittles to create a sense of fun and dynamism.
Of course, the logo needs to work in black and white too.
